Maybe things at home have felt tense lately. Maybe your child is struggling at school, or your teenager has pulled away and you're not sure how to reach them. Maybe you've been carrying a lot, anxiety, low mood, or stress that won't let up, and you're tired of managing it on your own. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to have it all figured out before we start.

I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, and no two people come to therapy with the same story. Some are dealing with anxiety or depression. Others are working through anger, self esteem concerns, family conflict, or a relationship that's hit a rough patch. Some simply need space to talk through a difficult season of life. Wherever you're starting from, we'll work through it together.

Working with me

I try to keep therapy simple and real. You should feel like you can talk about what's really going on, not the polished version, while also having a sense of what we're working toward.

I like to understand the full picture first: what's been happening, who is involved, and what you've already tried. From there, we can figure out what may help in a way that fits your life, your relationships, and what matters to you.

When I'm working with a child or teen, parents may also be part of the process when it would be helpful. This can give us a better understanding of what is happening and help support changes outside of sessions as well.

With couples and families, much of our work involves noticing the patterns that keep showing up between you and finding different ways to communicate, respond, and move through challenges together.

I draw from different therapy approaches depending on what fits the person and the concern. More importantly, I want you to feel heard, understand what we're working on, and leave therapy with something useful for your day to day life.

I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to meeting you.
