Hello! I work with children (6+), adolescents adults couples and families. My therapist journey began in the school system where I had the opportunity to work along-side teachers and parents. Since then, I have worked in day programs with neurodivergent clients and those with a diagnosis and their families. Many of my clients were dealing with personality disorders, self-compassion issues, addictions and emotional dysregulation. Facilitating parent groups was rewarding as I could learn from all families and we could exchange parenting strategies. Watching parents support other parents through the process of teaching their children to mentor their brain and energy is exciting.
Working with me
I employ evidence-based theory along with human development and neurobiology as my foundation. I draw deeply from body-centred work, as our bodies hold memories, patterns and attachment injuries that can override the best of intentions. Working with me, you will notice I work collaboratively to unravel events both recent and historical. Connections and understandings are uncovered.
The goal is to learn what motivates the behaviour and the skills deficits that impair growth. I invite clients to tune into moments when the topic lands hard. Therapy is courageous work that takes willingness to confront agony, pain and uncertainty, along with commitment and time.
Each family member has a unique experience in the family and in relationships within the family. I work with a variety of family member combinations.
I’m glad you’re here, and I look forward to meeting you.

Outside of my career, I enjoy reading about aspects of my career. There is such a vast amount of knowledge and great contributors to the field, it is enjoyable to see therapy from many vantage points. I was also a hockey mom, so I spent a great deal of time in arenas and watching hockey. Hockey recently came to a close and it has taken some time to find something else to grab my attention. I enjoy my active living group.
We plan many events including hiking, theater, dinning out and opera at the cinema. In March 2026 I was privileged to join a construction crew with 29 others to fly to Columbia and assist in building a boy’s school.
Taking the first step can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate it alone. Whether your family is facing a recent challenge or longstanding concerns, I look forward to partnering with you to help your child thrive.
